There’s a common misconception that you need dirty hair to protect your scalp during a color service. The truth is, modern hair color products are designed with advanced technology and ingredients that are much gentler on your scalp. While you don’t need to wash your hair right before your appointment, we recommend doing so at least a day before using light products and avoiding any grey coverage sprays.
Curly Cuts If you’re coming in for a curly cut, please arrive with your hair dried in its natural texture and minimal product, as we cut curls dry and then wash and style.
We understand that accidents can happen, so it’s best to dress with care. Avoid wearing white or light-colored clothing, as these are more prone to staining. Black tops are ideal, but if you forget, don’t worry—we have gowns for you to wear during your service. Remember to avoid hoods, as they can obstruct access to your hairline, and collars, while easier to roll down, can still get in the way.
Makeup Tip: We love taking after-photos of your fresh look, so feel free to wear makeup. Just know that a little might rub off during your shampoo, so bringing some touch-up items is a good idea!
Dangly earrings can be tricky to work around during your service. We recommend removing them before your appointment to make things easier for both you and your stylist. If you have any new piercings, please let your stylist know so we can take extra care to avoid them.
Your time in the salon is all about you, so feel free to bring work, tasks, or even just a good book. If you prefer a silent appointment, just let us know—we’re happy to accommodate. Need a little extra support? We’re here for you, whether you need someone to talk to or just a shoulder to cry on.
